I READ ALL THE REVIEWS BEFORE PURCHASING. MOST WERE POSITIVE AND I FOUND THAT WHAT OTHERS SAID WAS TRUE. THERE IS AN ARCH IN THIS SHOE. THERE IS NO ODOR FROM WEARING THIS SHOE. IT IS STYLISH AND LOOKS GOOD WITH SHORTS. I WEAR ALDEN BOOTS. I NEEDED SOMETHING BESIDES ALL MY RUNNING SHOES FOR A CRUISE THAT I AM TAKING THIS MONTH. GREAT SHOE...NO PROBLEMS.

My 13yr-old son purchased these with his birthday money. We looked at the "known" brand, and these were about half the price, and with better reviews! He has not been disappointed at all. We did order a half size larger, based on the comments/feedback, and they fit great.

This pair of shoes fits well and are very comfortable. They are non slip, however they do feel as though they lack a little bit of traction when compared to other non slip shoes I have owned. All in all I am very satisfied with my purchase, and would recommend these shoes to anyone looking for black non slip shoes!

I have the “Black Nappa” color.

These are very stylish shoes. A little “fancier” than other such sneakers. But they are not really lightweight. They weigh about a pound each.

The sole is rubber, which is 1 of the reasons the shoe is as heavy as it is. Nice tread on the bottom.

The footbed has nice padding, but as it shows on the listing it is “dense”. Another words it is fairly firm padding. There is slight arch support. Almost nonexistent. There is some padding around the ankle.

I think of the shoes more as casual shoes and certainly not a sports shoe. But they look really great, and I like them a lot.

These shoes have a weight of 13.61oz so they are quite heavy, as sneakers go. That’s because the sole is made of rubber and not plastic like the ultra lightweight shoes are. The upper portion is canvas. There is firm padding on the footbed and nice arch support. There is firm padding around the ankle. These are slip on shoes have a loop in the back to make putting them on easier.

These shoes are made in China. At the current price of ninety-five bucks they are well over twice the price they should be. But overall I like them.
