Shoe Palace x New Balance
In honor of our 30th anniversary, @newbalance created a 2002R colorway for us. To pay homage to our roots, the colorway is inspired by iconic views and lookout points in San Francisco. With San Francisco in our backyard, we want to pay homage to historical landmarks that helped shape Bay Area culture. The natural colors from the coast from rocky cliffs above the ocean, the shady stands of cypress and eucalyptus trees, and the secret labyrinth inspired us to design a capsule to pay homage to our beautiful surrounding. The foundational color scheme draws inspiration from the rugged terrain, with hints of rocky textures. The blue laces represent the ocean, while the pink laces capture the essence of the Golden Gate Bridge's vibrant hues. The green insole is a tribute to the eucalyptus trees that grace the local landscape.

I have lyme disease which results in my feet often being painful, so finding a pair of shoes that is comfortable is essential to me....and rarely found. These shoes definitely meet the requirements!!! They're lightweight and comfy, easily worn all day. I normally wear an 11, but sometimes a 10 1/2. I ordered a 10 1/2 and they fit perfect.
Maybe I'm slow or missing something, but these shoes are slipons. I view the laces as decorative.

This model seems to be offered with various uppers here. Mine look similar to the 'military' color shown, but they're actually a dark green, oiled canvas. I mention this because different uppers are going to offer different protections and a different feel. Mine were somewhat stiff when they were new, because the uppers are an oiled canvas, but they quickly became soft.
I like these shoes for 2 reasons. The first is that they look good. The second is that I love PRO-Keds. While everyone has their favorite canvas sneaker, I think PRO-Keds are just simply more comfortable then any of the other major brands and I've tried them all. They also just fit my feet better and they fit true to size. I've worn PRO-Keds for about 40 years, since I was a small child, and so they've always been my preferred canvas sneaker.

I ordered this for my father-in-law who is in assisted living. He needs a comfortable shoe that is easy to take on and off. The first pair I ordered was too short and too tight. I reordered a wider shoe one size larger and it fits well and is very comfortable.

This runs a little bigger than usual,but these are made well. These have a strong chemical smell. They do hold up well under all weather and conditions,they come with an extra pair of laces.

Bought these for my son because I was tired of looking at his worn out stain tennis shoes. He says these are very comfortable and he likes them a lot. They wipe off nicely. The foot bed is comfortable and they appear to be well constructed. I will keep this in mind The next time I purchased a pair of sneakers. They’re just as good as any one, two, $300 pair of shoes.
